Training is part of the automation job. A cell that only the integrator can restart is not accepted as complete.
What trainees practice
- Normal start and stop.
- The three alarms they will actually see in the first month.
- When to stop and lock out instead of reaching in.
Format
Short sessions at the machine beat long classroom decks. We use the real HMI. Printed steps stay in the cell, not only in email.
New hires later
We leave a one-page induction so the plant can train the next person. If that page does not exist, we failed the handover.
